Porter, Batiste, Stoltz @ Independent $20
A New Orleans funk powerhouse trio if ever there was
one, these guys are 3 of the 4 Funky Meters. They'll
hit you with bass, drums, and guitar and hit you hard!

Ozomatli @ Fillmore $25
Ozo will bring you the latin, the afro, the funk, the
hip-hop, the jazz, and basically whatever else you're
dancin' feet can handle in a big big big way. Hot

ALO & Guitaaaaarmaggedon @ Independent $12
Animal Liberation Orchestra is one of the best
up-and-coming funky jambands around. They'll be giving
their all on the big stage for sure. The opening act
(guitarmageddon) is a huge guitar jam with all-star
players from a ton of huge bands. Should be amazing.

Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey @ 12 Galaxies $12
Structure isn't a word that means much to Jacob Fred.
They improvise in a free-form jazz language that is
all their own. Truly a unique musical experience, they
are not to be missed if you're into experimental jazz.

Realistic Orchestra @ Bruno's $10
The original break-beat orchestra packs it into
Bruno's again with 18 musicians for just $10. Can't
beat a ratio like that and the $2 Stellas will be
flowin'. It's been too long since I've seen 'em so I
think I'll be heading down...
