Due to a severe case of 'too-much-on-my-plate'
syndrome, there will be no actual McShow contained
herein. There is however one event that I felt
compelled to tell you all about.

Join me (and a certain cute little redhead) for the
FREQUINOX music festival in McLaren Park's Jerry
Garcia Amphitheatre from 12 to 6 tomorrow. The players
are a collection of people from the Funky Meters,
Galactic, Greyboy Allstars, Papa Grows Funk,
Motherbug, and more! It's a free show with beverage
proceeds to benefit New Orleans musicians. Super
neato. Dig the lineup:

4:30- Russell Batiste & Orkestra From Da Hood

funk/jazz players all!

Black Eyed Peas), and Adam Deitch (drums, John
Scofield)
